“A strong album from a trio that enriches the Belgian jazz scene with a unique sound.” (about Tsuki 月) ★ ★ ★ ★ De Standaard
“Is this hip hop? Well, it could be. Could be jazz as well. Or some dub mutation no-one ever heard of. Fact is: you will never be the same after this one.” Lefto Early Bird
“The influence of the new Brussels jazz scene is undeniable.” Luminous Dash

About Kin Gajo
“jazz, hiphop & manga in one universe”
The Brussels-based Kin Gajo combines a fresh jazz sound with electronic influences, hip-hop grooves, and a manga aesthetic. On their debut EP, Āku (W.E.R.F. Records), they build a colorful sonic universe, enhanced live by original visuals. In 2024, they won the prize of Jazz Talent Ghent.
Kin Gajo blends contemporary jazz with hip-hop beats, inventive electronics, and a metropolitan flair. Their debut EP, Āku, immediately caught the eye: none other than DJ and producer Lefto included their work in his compilation, Jazz Cats Vol. 3, spotlighting the latest wave of Brussels jazz.
For their new album, Tsuki 月 (2026, W.E.R.F. Records), they teamed up with visual artist Moon, who created a manga inspired by Kin Gajo's music. The result, Tsuki is a unique physical release on vinyl and paper: jazz and graphic novels meet in a crossover of Belgian creativity and Japanese visual poetry.
